Hello Beacons!
As we near the end of the semester, many of you will be filling out end-of-semester course surveys.
If your professor used no-cost or low-cost materials in their course, you can thank them in their survey! Doing so will:
1) Encourage them to continue using no-cost and low-cost materials in their future courses.
2) Let them know that you appreciate their efforts to make education more affordable.
3) Help to make college more accessible to all students.
Why do no-cost and low-cost course materials matter?
1) You save money.
2) Affordable course materials can be as good as traditional textbooks.
3) They are more accessible to students.
Learn about how UMass Boston is supporting faculty to make their courses more affordable for students by visiting UMass Boston's Open Education page linked here: https://www.umb.edu/library/open-education/
