Thanks to our great friends at HarbourVest Partners for their significant donation to our homelessness prevention program. The icing on the cake? 🎂 HarbourVest executives, along with 60 of their clients from across the globe, recently packed over 200 birthday-in-a-bag kits for children in our care! Both the financial support for our work with parents and physical support of our children's dreams result in a massive return on investment for our families' futures.

We're grateful to the Audax Private Equity team for assembling dozens of Mother's Day gift baskets and job search kits for mothers in our care. Thank you for helping spread joy to our families 🫶

Congratulations to our colleague Executive & Strategic Projects Manager Masami Dustin for being named as one of 10 distinguished alumni honored at the College for Social Innovation's 10-year anniversary event! 🎉 Masami began his career at FamilyAid as a University of New Hampshire CFSI Semester in the City Fellow in 2020. He has become a cornerstone of our team—most recently leading CHIME Boston, a $1 million, four-year initiative recognized by The Aspen Institute as a national best practice in preventing and ending family homelessness. Congratulations, Masami! 🌟

We celebrated a joyful Mother’s Day celebration at our Family Navigation Center. 💐

With help from volunteers, children and moms created their own flower arrangements, decorated cards and enjoyed a delicious brunch together.

One mom celebrating her very first Mother’s Day shared that she hadn’t expected anyone to do anything for moms staying in shelter. She was so surprised and grateful, saying she thinks she’ll look back on this as the best Mother’s Day she’s had. Moments like these demonstrate how meaningful it is to create space for families to celebrate and enjoy being together.

Thanks to our volunteers from Liberty Mutual Insurance for spending the day organizing hygiene kits and clothing bags for children and parents in our care! Your support means so much!
