It was great to meet these health leaders, Rainelle Walker-White, Co-Director of The Family Van; and Dr. Bisola Ojikutu MD MPH FIDSA, Commissioner of Public Health and Executive Director of the Boston Public Health Commission, at yesterday's event. Dr. Ojikutu encouraged the MHHM to increase its commitment to the health of black male Bostonians who die at an earlier age than all other Bostonians. Do you have any suggestions about what we can do?

❤️ Today, Rainelle Walker-White, Co-Director of The Family Van, joined the Boston Community Health Collaborative Partner Convening, where community health leaders came together around a shared goal: closing gaps in health care across Boston.

The conversation highlighted the importance of working across organizations to address the challenges affecting our neighbors, from barriers to health care access to housing instability.

At The Family Van, we know that a health screening is just the beginning. By working alongside community health centers, hospitals, and community-based organizations, we can better understand unmet needs, strengthen connections to care, and help more neighbors access the support they need.

BREAKING: A Republican super PAC desperate to save Susan Collins just set up to $25,000 on fire attacking Troy Jackson in the wrong state.

Defending Main Street, a GOP group tied to the Republican Main Street Partnership that Collins belongs to, bought a 30-second video ad blasting Jackson over taxes. There was just one problem. The ad ran in Portland, Oregon. Not Portland, Maine.

According to Google's ad transparency data, the group spent between $20,000 and $25,000 pushing the ad across hundreds of ZIP codes in Oregon and Washington from October 8 through October 11. It was served more than a million times to people roughly 3,000 miles away from the race. Not a single one of them can vote for or against Troy Jackson.

The PAC has now admitted the blunder, blaming its media vendor and saying the ads were pulled once the mistake was caught. And how was it caught? Oregonians started posting online about getting hammered with attack ads targeting a Maine Senate candidate they had never heard of.

The ad's message: "Maine can't afford Troy Jackson." Apparently Maine can't afford the GOP's geography skills either.

And the GOP knows it is in trouble. Since Jackson became the Democratic nominee in July, he has kept pace with Collins, and several recent polls show him holding a slim lead. That is why the attack ads are flooding in. Republicans are scared.

They are spending like it. They just might want to buy a map first.

BREAKING: The White House went looking for applause on X Monday and found a ghost town.

The administration posted a boast that under President Trump, anyone who disrupts the integrity of America's elections will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The post promoted a Justice Department announcement of charges against 16 people accused of illegal voting, fraudulent registration, and related election crimes.

Sixteen people. In a country of more than 330 million. That is the administration's big election integrity crackdown.

But the real story was in the replies. A Raw Story review of the 176 most relevant responses found that 138 opposed or mocked the White House. Only 19 backed it. The usual wall of cheerleading accounts that floods administration posts was nowhere to be seen.

Users noticed fast. One account with nearly 48,000 followers told people to go read the comments just 22 minutes after the post went up, declaring the bots completely gone. Another, with more than 300,000 followers, laughed that the usual bootlickers had vanished. Others asked the obvious question: what happened to the Russian bot farms?

The timing is hard to ignore. Yandex, the Russian tech giant often called Russia's Google, said Sunday that a drone attack completely shut down its data center in the Vladimir region, according to Reuters. It was the third major Yandex data center knocked offline in a matter of days, following strikes on facilities in Sasovo and Kaluga. Yandex blamed Ukraine for the Kaluga attack, though Kyiv has not officially claimed the strikes.

Cloudflare Radar data cited by The Deep Dive shows automated traffic from Yandex's network collapsing to near zero around the start of October 11. At one point that day, bot requests sat at 0.3 percent of the chart's peak, compared with 88.2 percent at the same hour a week earlier.

The silence in those replies says plenty.
