BGCD's 12&U Coed All-Star Soccer Team hosted BGC Lynn for a first round playoff game in the Program Council league! β½οΈ BGCD built a 2-0 lead by halftime and held off a late rally from a talented Lynn squad to win 2-1. Congrats to both teams on a well played game!
Next stop: the League Championship!

BGCD was pleased to welcome back a team of volunteers from The Home Depot to offer support and supplies for a Spring renovation! π The volunteers reimagined a much used storage space with new shelving units throughout. In addition, the volunteers supplied new tables, tents and chairs for the upcoming Summer program. Thank you to the outstanding volunteers for their hard work on the project, to The Home Depot Foundation which provided all the supplies, and to our friends at Home Depot for their ongoing support of BGCD!

June is National Pride Month! A sense of belonging is critical to the safety and success of our youth. We believe every young person deserves to feel seen, valued, respected, and celebrated for who they are. By creating a safe, welcoming place for all, we can support the young people in our community. π

BGCD teamed up with our program partner Elevate Youth for an outing to the Massachusetts Fish and Wildlife Hatchery in Attleboro! π Members learned about ecosystems in our region, took a tour of the facility and had the opportunity to try fishing. Thanks Elevate Youth for providing the fun opportunity!
