Happy Public Works Week! The Public Works Department keeps Boston running: resurfacing streets, rebuilding sidewalks and curb ramps, ensuring trash and recycling are collected on time, clearing snow, upgrading streetlights, and keeping our roads and sidewalks clean and safe. Rain or shine, PWD crews are out taking care of our infrastructure and looking after our neighborhoods. Thank you for your hard work and dedication!

Our Street Lighting Division continued work this weekend upgrading fixtures on Atlantic Ave, Kneeland St, Tremont St, Cambridge St & Washington St (Dorchester). In total, crews replaced 219 fixtures! 💡🛠️

Weekend work continued for our Street Lighting Division with crews installing new poles & acorn fixtures on Charles Street in Bay Village, replacing LED pendant fixtures on Huntington Avenue, and upgrading acorn fixtures along Atlantic Avenue.
