Mass 50501 Mass50501 brings together individuals from all walks of life who share the desire to preserve American democracy.

We strive to unite the people of Massachusetts to defend our rights, liberties, and democracy, to uphold the constitutional rule of law, and to stand against tyranny in all its forms. Through grass-roots organizing, rallies and events, and amplifying messages of hope and nonviolence, we aim to oppose the dictatorial ambitions of President Trump, the unlawful dismantling of essential government programs by Elon Musk, and Project 2025.

October bus tours are usually for the fall foliage. Not this one. 🍂

ICE flights are leaving from Hanscom Field, right here in our backyard. Lexington is the town where the American Revolution began, and we know what it looks like when ordinary people refuse to stay quiet in the face of tyranny.

So hop on the MBTA 76 at Depot Square in Lexington and join us for a tour and protest of ICE flights from Hanscom.

No Kings Boston is NOT a rally. 🚫👑

We showed our power with 180,000 people on Boston Common in March. For this No Kings, we are focusing on the midterms. We don't need another rally. We need to get to work.

So on October 17th, you become the organizer. Pick a high-traffic spot or a neighborhood with historically low turnout, and choose your action:
- Help people register and find their polling place.
- Get on a soapbox and tell everyone why we give a s**t about the midterms.
- Vote early with your friends, then throw a block party to deepen your community.
- Teach people how to prepare for sustained action.

We will keep a live map so folks can travel the city and see the actions. Every action is nonviolent and nonpartisan, because this is about protecting our voting rights and getting people to VOTE EARLY.

Democracy does not protect itself. People protect it.

Suffragists picketed the White House. Four students sat down at a lunch counter in Greensboro. Farmworkers boycotted grapes until growers came to the table. Every expansion of our freedom came from ordinary people who decided to act together.

That is what the Protect Our Vote pledge is about. Swipe to see the four commitments:

🗳️ Promote free and democratic elections. Make a plan to vote, remind neighbors of registration deadlines, share accurate voting information, and serve as a poll monitor.

✊ Take strategic and nonviolent action. Join demonstrations, boycotts, sit-ins, and workplace noncooperation, and use your professional skills to protect democratic processes.

🛡️ Be prepared. Learn de-escalation, know your trusted news sources, and connect with local community groups.

🤝 Solidarity. When individuals or communities are targeted, we stand with them, whether that means showing up or chipping in.

New Bedford, MA needs you right now.

This week, ICE surged into the South Coast and arrested about 40 of our neighbors. Parents were taken right after school drop-off. Workers were taken on their way to the fish houses. Three brothers were taken in a grocery store parking lot. Families are staying inside, kids are missing school, and whole blocks have gone quiet with fear.

Two frontline organizations are doing the work:
💛 Mujeres Victoriosas is a grassroots organization building leadership and power among immigrant women in New Bedford. Right now they are helping families with rent, transportation, and groceries.

💛 Humanity at Work is a New Bedford mutual aid network covering basic needs and legal fees for neighbors caught in this crisis.

ICE came to scare New Bedford into hiding. Instead, they will find a city that shows up for its own.
