Join Belmont World Film on 17 January 2026 at 14.00 at the West Newton Cinema, Massachusetts for a screening of The Blue Fiddle/Fidil Ghorm as part of the 23rd Annual Belmont World Film’s Family Festival.

This contemporary Irish-language movie tells the story of 10-year-old Molly, who’s on a heartfelt mission to bring her father out of a coma. Believing that winning the All-Ireland Fiddle Competition might wake him, she’s determined to follow in his musical footsteps and invoke the magic in the music.

Set in Rathmullen, County Donegal, Ireland, the film combines a magical Irish traditional folk music score and the breathtaking scenery of Donegal’s Wild Atlantic Way and Lough Swilly to tell a heartwarming family story.
