Baltimore blaze leaves three firefighters dead, fourth critically injured Three Baltimore firefighters died and a fourth was critically injured on Monday after responding to a blaze in a vacant home, officials said.

630a fighting fire in several 3 story row homes. There has been a collapse and multiple mayday calls were made by trapped firefighters. Special Rescue Team is on scene.

715a 3 of were trapped in the collapse; 1 has been rescued & is taking to Shock Trauma in serious condition. Special Rescue Team continues to work on freeing the other 2

740a 1 more has been rescued by Special Rescue Team. to treat & transport. Condition serious. 1 member remains trapped, crews are in contact & are working to free them.

STIRLING, Richard F. Jr. Lt. Boston Fire Department, Engine 49 of West Roxbury passed away suddenly on June 15, 2021. Beloved husband of Mary L. (McLaughlin) Stirling. Devoted father of Richard Stirling III (BFD) and his wife Ryan of West Roxbury, Christopher Stirling (Needham Fire Dept.) and his fiancé Jenna of West Roxbury, Jacquelyn Patrician and her husband Ryan (Canton Fire Dept.) and Jennifer Couillard and her husband Albert of Norwood. Loving “Grampy” of Thomas, Jimmy, Abby, Lilly, Charlotte, Max and Leo. Dear brother of Maryann, Patricia, and Kathy Stirling. He was the son of the late Anna L. (McLean) and Richard F. Stirling Sr. (BFD) Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Rick was also a longtime EMT and a member of Local 718. Visiting hours will be held in the William J.
