Want to get involved with this year’s election? Boulder Progressives is looking for volunteers to help distribute our voter guide and literature to residents! This is a fun way to get outside in the (hopefully nice!) fall weather and make an impact. We’ll do our best to match you to a location close to where you live if desired.

Every election year, Boulder Progressives takes our voter guide off of the internet and puts it directly into the hands and doors of 30,000 Boulder households.

On October 10th, we’re getting together to assemble this year’s literature and get it ready to go across Boulder. We need people to help assemble it, pick up routes, and get it onto doorsteps. If you’ve got an hour or an afternoon, we can use you!

City Council is meeting with the Police Oversight Panel tonight (September 24, 2026), the panel’s first direct session with council in nearly two years. Boulder Progressives is asking Council to review how misconduct complaints are handled, racial disparities, and Boulder’s non-police response program. We specifically raise three issues with Council:

1. Boulder Police Department’s limitations on independent police oversight, which have nearly eliminated meaningful civilian review in Boulder;

2. the continued need for discussion and updates on racial disparities in use of force and police stops;

3. and the City’s disuse of its Community Assistance Response and Engagement (CARE) non-police response program.
