Something bad happened during the install of a new fire pump in Gloucester. Anthony went down to open up the valves to restore water to the system, and never came back out!

If anyone is brave enough to watch the footage, please let us know what happened to him! I think there's a few hints as to what might have gone down...

Left side is a textbook NFPA 25 deficiency. Heavy corrosion on the frame arms and deflector, plus that degraded finish on the bulb — this head is past the point of “limited corrosion.” When corrosion is detrimental to performance, replacement is mandatory. Right side is what a proper install looks like.

Don’t wait, call Freedom Fire!

We had to reupload our post from the weekend! Here's Russell giving a quick talk about what we are looking for in this project. With each sprinkler head we perform a visual inspection to decide if its time has come. One by one, room by room we go through each and every sprinkler, until the job is done, and done right!

78 Sprinklers down... 322 to Go! Tom Cowgill III and the team are busy all week changing out 400 corroded sprinkler heads and replacing them with new ones. It's a big project and the guys had to get up well before dawn in order to get it done in 3 days!

Good work out there!
