This week is School Bus Safety Week! Bow Police will be conducting increased enforcement of school bus violations to help protect students as they travel to and from school. This includes monitoring for motorists who illegally pass stopped school buses with their red lights flashing and stop arms extended.

A few important reminders for drivers:

*Stop for a school bus when its red lights are flashing and stop arm is extended.

*Never pass a stopped school bus loading or unloading students.

*Watch carefully for children near bus stops and along the roadway.

*Allow extra time for your commute and be patient around school buses.

A moment of impatience behind the wheel can put a child’s life at risk. Our increased enforcement is intended to encourage compliance, deter dangerous driving, and keep Bow’s students safe.

Help us protect our kids. Slow down, stay alert, and stop for the school bus. Every child deserves to get to and from school safely.

Blue for Bucks!

Support Bow Police Department
Why We Go Blue for Bucks
Each October, communities across New Hampshire join together for this peer-to-peer fundraiser supporting local Child Advocacy Centers (CACs).

These centers promote hope, healing, and justice for child victims of abuse by providing coordinated investigations and forensic interviews, family support, and referrals to medical and mental health care—all at no cost to families.

We participate in Blue for Bucks because we believe in fueling hope for child abuse victims, so they can have the childhood they deserve and go on to become happy and successful adults.

Please join us by giving today—your support will make a direct and meaningful difference for children and families right here in our community.
