We’re proud to recognize Connor Doyle, who is celebrating one year of service with our team! Connor currently serves as a Water Accountability Tech and has also worked as an AMR/AMI Tech.

For Connor, one of the best parts of the job is the people he works alongside.

“The thing I enjoy most about this job is the people I get to work with. Everyone I’ve had the chance to work with has treated me great, and they all want to see each of us succeed.”

Connor also enjoys the hands-on side of his work—especially tracking down leaks and making repairs. Whether he’s chasing down a leak or working in the ditch on an after-hours call, he enjoys the challenge of getting the problem fixed and the water flowing again.

We appreciate Connor’s hard work, teamwork, and willingness to jump in when he’s needed. We’re glad to have him on our team!

The best of the best — but we already knew that.

We couldn’t be prouder of our own John Potter, who just proved on the national stage what those of us at Warren County Water District already knew: he’s one of the very best at what he does.

After earning his spot at the national competition, John took on the Zenner USA Ultimate Meter Challenge at WaterPro in Phoenix — and came out on top! 🏆

John’s skill, dedication, and professionalism represent the very best of our team and our industry. We’re incredibly proud to have him representing Warren County Water District, our community, and Kentucky.

Congratulations, John! You earned it — and Hawaii isn’t a bad victory lap either. 🌴☀️

💧 Employee Spotlight: Austin Mielke 💧

This week, we’re proud to spotlight Austin Mielke, Butler County Water Treatment Plant & Distribution Supervisor!

Austin has been with us for 1 year, beginning his career here as a Repairman before stepping into his current supervisory role.

Before entering the water industry, Austin worked in a factory. When the opportunity came to make a career change, he was excited about the chance to work outdoors while providing an essential service to the community.

When asked about his favorite part of the job, Austin shared:
“Every day holds a new challenge, and I get to work with an awesome team to figure out the best solution to the day’s challenges.”

Austin’s dedication, teamwork, and commitment to serving our community are greatly appreciated. Thank you, Austin, for all you do to help keep our water system running strong! 👏💧
