❤️ Special visit at the Library yesterday - State Librarian Mary Soucie! We had a great time showing off our little Library and chatting all things library. So appreciate the support the ND State Library provides from statewide Libby access, to always being their for our questions, to their steadfast support of Libraries and readers throughout North Dakota! ❤️❤️❤️

October at the Bowman Regional Public Library!

Story time returns! Every Thursday at 10:30am, we're reading stories, playing, and socializing together. Registering at www.bowmanlibrary.org sure helps us plan activities and crafts!

Our 2nd Annual Scarecrow Stroll begins on Tuesday, October 6th. Stroll through the Library's Backyard green space and vote for your favorite scarecrow. We'll keep the scarecrows on display as long as the weather allows.

TeenTober begins on Tuesday, October 6th at 5 pm. We've got activities all month long for Teens! No registration is required. For grades 6 and up.

BYOB Book club and our Bowman Regional Silent Book Club continues in October, along with the Cooking The Books Cookbook Club! Visit with your Librarian to find out more.

Our Used Book Sale begins on Wednesday, October 14th! Here's your opportunity to build up your own personal library, while helping the BRPL too!

Bowman features Pioneer Trails Regional Museum's Dr. Emily and her lovely crocheted creations! Wednesday, October 14th - and it's National Fossil Day too!

We're rolling out Spice Club this month. This is a Take & Make activity - you stop in the library to pick up your sample of the BRPL Spice of the Month (this month is Smoked Paprika), plus a little bit about the history of the spice, and some affordable recipes to make. Let us know how you use the spice!

Cooking the Books Cookbook Club met on Sunday, September 27th to talk about and taste recipes from The Ranch Table by Elizabeth Poett. 😋

We sampled :
Mini Buttermilk Cinnamon Rolls
Fudgy Caramel Brownies
Sausage and Cheddar Frittata
Sweet Corn Polenta
Caesar Salad with Homemade Croutons
Molasses Lace Cookies with White Chocolate

Delicious! Our next meeting is Sunday, October 25th. We will be tasting and discussing recipes from Magnolia Table: A Collection of Recipes for Gathering by Joanna Gaines.
