OctoBearFest is just around the corner on Saturday October 24th!!
Kids get in free with paying adults!
There will be a costume contest every hour!
We will have a Gallatin County 4H petting zoo!
There will be games with prizes and of coarse Trunk or Treating with so much candy!!
We will be doing the pumpkin patch again this year where every child can pick a pumpkin to take home!

We are still looking for more trunks! If you want to come decorate a trunk and hand out candy please send a text to 406-600-1541!!

DAYTON, OHIO — I’M COMING YOUR WAY THIS SUNDAY!
For more than 30 years, I’ve ventured into the wild and come face-to-face with some of the planet’s most extraordinary predators. Grizzlies, wolves, mountain lions, tigers, and more.
I’ve experienced moments of incredible beauty, heart-pounding fear, and encounters that have forever changed the way I see the natural world.
This Sunday, I’ll be sharing those experiences onstage at the historic Victoria Theatre in Dayton, Ohio, in my presentation AMONG WILD PREDATORS.
Through unforgettable stories, breathtaking imagery, and lessons learned from a lifetime among wild animals, we’ll explore what predators can teach us about fear, courage, coexistence, and ultimately, ourselves.
It’s a journey into the wild, and perhaps a different way of seeing the world around us.

Griz Week!

September 23, 7:00pm!
Free Lecture at Shane Lalani Center for the Arts
presented by Casey Anderson.

Grizzlies are an important part of the landscape we call home, and understanding how they live, move, and interact with people is increasingly important for everyone who shares this region.

This September, Griz Week gives you three different opportunities to learn more about grizzly bears, bear ecology, and what it means to live alongside them in Montana. Join us for a free lecture with Casey Anderson exploring people, wilderness, and the future of grizzlies; a free bear-awareness program and bear-spray training with Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks; and a special field trip to Tom Miner Basin for an on-the-ground discussion of bear ecology, conflict reduction, and wildlife movement.

Whether you have lived in bear country your entire life or simply want to better understand one of the animals that helps define this place, Griz Week is a chance to learn from people doing this work firsthand and to better understand the ecology of the landscape around us.

The events on September 23 and 25 are free and open to the public, while the September 26 field trip to Tom Miner Basin is a special ticketed event with limited space available. You can purchase tickets for the field trip on the YGM store website.
