❤️ The Magic of Community Connection!
Sometimes the most meaningful connections happen when you least expect them!
Yesterday, our Walk the Block group made its way to beautiful Soroptimist Park, where we had the pleasure of hearing from Heather Collins and Kass Thompson of Leadership Montana.
We learned about the organization's mission to develop and connect leaders across our great state, including the story of its founding and the involvement of former Governor Judy Martz and former U.S. Senator Max Baucus.
And then, in a moment of pure serendipity...
Who should happen to walk by with his dog, right as we were talking about Leadership Montana's beginnings? Max Baucus himself!
A spontaneous hello turned into a wonderful conversation and an opportunity to reconnect Leadership Montana with one of the people who helped bring it to life.
And how fitting that this all happened in Soroptimist Park, a space connected to an organization dedicated to empowering women and girls through education and opportunity.
THIS is why we Walk the Block! ❤️
To learn. To listen. To connect. To celebrate the people and organizations that make our community and our state so special.
A huge thank you to Heather and Kass for sharing their time, passion, and the story of Leadership Montana with us.
A beautiful reminder that community is built through relationships, and sometimes all it takes is showing up, taking a walk, and saying hello.
Love how the universe works! ❤️
