We resently had a rescue of a red shoulder hawk that had secondary poisoning and most people don't realize that by poisoning mice or rats that anything that eats that mouse or rat they get poisoned too . Everything from snakes to oppossum , raccoons , fox , coyotes , bobcats and all the birds of prey. It is also illegal to put poison out that wildlife can get to; ther's always an alternative.
