The ManaSota Medical Reserve Corps is all set up and ready for the public at the 1st Annual Manatee County Citizens Hurricane Expo. This is more of a "show and tell" event rather than our normal role of providing medical support, though we did treat one person during the course of the event. Our thanks to Roger B., Sharon L., Glenn W., Ernie E., and Jennifer E. for volunteering to staff the event.

Last Saturday (February 1, 2020) the ManaSota Medical Reserve Corps supported the "Doggies for Duchenne" 5 K Race and Dry Triathlon. Outside of the building it was anything but dry, raining very hard and the temperatures falling like a lead weight. But out team was there with one Mobile Aid Station Trailer and two Mobile Emergency Response ATV's. We only had to treat one injury and that was a crushed finger that had been slammed in a car door. Stay tuned, we have the Bradenton River Regatta coming up this weekend and we will be providing medical support for it with two static locations and one mobile rover.
