October 28th sets aside National First Responders Day to honor the men and women who act quickly when an emergency is at hand.

Today, take a moment to remember, honor and thank the dedication our deployed military displays for our country. Deployments can last anywhere from 90 days to 15 months. Having a loved one actively serving a deployment brings numerous challenges.

Native Americans have proudly worn our nation’s uniform in every one of our conflicts. Today, we honor that legacy and celebrate the cultures, contributions and resilience of our Native peoples.
