Campaign Complete — Mission Accomplished for our K9 Heroes! 🐾💙🐾

As the final highlight of our “Keeping Our Community K9 Heroes Cool” campaign, Vet Care Express had the honor of visiting the Bradenton Police Department to personally deliver the essential K9 gear kits made possible by your generous donations. 🙌

We were warmly welcomed by Bradenton Chief of Police Josh Cramer, and the gear was presented alongside Detective Moyette and K9 Officer Liberty — a true community moment of pride and partnership.

Representing Vet Care Express was Founder, Cheryl Brady, with special guest Dr. Devon Diaz, DVM, MS, DACVECC of Veterinary Medical Center at Lakewood Ranch.

Dr. Diaz’s expertise as a Critical Care Veterinary Specialist guided the inclusion of advanced trauma care supplies such as SWAT-T tourniquets, chest seals, emergency bandages, cooling gear, and specialized wound dressings, ensuring every K9 unit is equipped for the unexpected.

We thank everyone for donating to our campaign, “Keeping Our Community K9 Heroes Cool”!

Because of your generosity, we were able to provide:

✅ Thermometers
✅ Cooling pads

These tools will help keep Bradenton’s K9 units safe, cool, and ready for deployment year-round. 🐶

This sweet pup needed foreign body surgery for a toy 😢. Thankfully, the great team at North River Animal Hospital took excellent care of her! We transported her to Bradenton Veterinary Emergency Hospital for overnight care and back to North River in the morning. Many many thanks to everyone involved in her excellent excellent care!!

Congratulations Watson’s Friends Animal Hospital! They are now certified in Pet CPR/ First Aid! We had a great class and a lot of fun with their team!
