Three years ago today, the first confirmed COVID case in the US was reported, although we now know that COVID had already been here long before that.

We also know now that the federal responded by banning COVID testing for weeks, during which time the virus spread wildly and undetected through the US, while they dusted off the lockdown plan they created for the bird flu in 2005.

At the same time, state governments were preparing to force nursing homes and mental health facilities to accept COVID patients, thus ensuring that the most vulnerable people in the country were directly exposed.

Later, government would try to mandate a vaccine that would not stop infection, forcing people into joblessness and ostracization from their community.

Now, we know that government worked directly with social media companies to suppress dissenting voices against lockdowns and mandates.

They even suppressed questions about the origins of COVID, which increasingly looks to have possibly been created due to gain-of-function research funded by the federal government.

These three years have shown us that government makes crises worse.

Let us resolve ourselves to get government out of our lives, so that we can solve problems ourselves without them making everything harder.
