Elks Feed Empty Little Tummies

Bradenton Elks feed thousands of local kids Right now the Elks Lodge is working hard to make sure that local kids have all the food they need.

A new school year and our volunteers are hard at work feeding over 700 children each week!

EFELT volunteers from lodges 1511 and 2855 are given an appreciation lunch for their dedication and time to purchase, pack bags and deliver food to school children around Manatee county.

Once again Lakewood Ranch Sarasota lodge #2855 is buying and stocking food to feed children on weekends during the school year. Our program is called EFELT (Elks Feeding Empty little tummies). Volunteers and donations welcomed.

A giant shout out to thank our partner "Meals on Wheels" for assisting us with feeding children throughout the new school year 2023/2024.

Another successful "Stuff the truck" event held at lodge #2855. Around $1000.00 in food and money donations received.

Volunteers from lodge #2855 and #1511 enjoyed an EFELT appreciation luncheon on April 14th.

Elks Feeding Empty Little Tummies is participating in the 2020 Giving Challenge hosted by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County. The Giving Challenge is an online 24-hour giving event that connects nearly 700 nonprofit organizations with passionate donors and community members to support diverse causes and create enduring impact in Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, and DeSoto counties.

From NOON today, April 28th through NOON tomorrow, April 29th you can give directly to EFELT and take advantage of the 1:1 matching generously provided by The Patterson Foundation. The Patterson Foundation is matching up to $100 per donor, per nonprofit organization. There is no limit to the number of unique donor matches we can receive. It is an incredible opportunity for our organization and one of our major fundraising events of the year!
