The Manatee County Sheriff's Office Explorer Program is a youth organization sanctioned by the Boys Scouts of America. This is a coed program ranging from ages 11-19. 11-13 year olds participate in the Jr. Cadet program, which is based on a learning for life curriculum; our 14-19 year olds are Explorers who learn directly from professional law enforcement deputies. It’s that time of the year again. is here and so are the Explorers. We will be at each entrance with wristbands for your children. The wristband will have the emergency contact just in case your child is misplaced. The number will be called to locate the lost parent/guardian.
