A new chapter of hope begins at Manatee Children's Services, Inc MCS Child Advocacy Center!

We celebrated an exciting milestone with the groundbreaking ceremony for our new Parenting Center, a space designed to strengthen families, support parents, and help create brighter futures for children in our community.

This is more than a construction project. It's an investment in prevention, education, and the belief that when families receive the right support, children have a greater opportunity to grow up in safe, healthy, and nurturing environments.

We were honored to share this special moment with our MCS staff and Board of Directors, the President and Board Members of the William G. and Marie Selby Foundation, the Hope & Hunger Foundation, and Mayor Gene Brown.

Your presence, leadership, and commitment to our community remind us that meaningful change happens when people come together with a shared purpose.

We also want to recognize KMI Development as we begin bringing this vision to life.

For 50 years, Manatee Children's Services has been dedicated to protecting children, supporting families, and creating opportunities for healing and growth. This new Parenting Center represents another important step toward building a stronger future for Manatee County.

Today, we're proud to spotlight David, a dedicated member of the Manatee Children's Services Board who has been supporting our mission since 2009!

A Manatee County resident for more than 50 years, David is a licensed CPA, local business owner, U.S. Army veteran, and passionate community leader.

His commitment to serving others extends far beyond his professional career. From his involvement with Leadership Manatee to his continued support of local organizations, David has dedicated years to making a positive impact in our community.

We are incredibly grateful for his leadership, generosity, and commitment to helping MCS bring hope, healing, and brighter futures to children and families.

A little rain couldn’t stop our community from coming together for a great cause! 💙

What an incredible evening at Good Liquid Brewing Co. for our Manatee Children’s Services Spirit Night!

We are so grateful to everyone who joined us, shared a meal, and helped support our mission of protecting children, promoting healing, and strengthening families in Manatee County.

A special thank you to Krista Post, Hannah Sarmiento & Manatee Children’s Services, and Brandy Britton for their dedication and support in making this event a success.

We also want to recognize the Manatee River Rotary, BNI - Key Referrals, Let's Connect, and our amazing MCS staff for showing up and supporting our mission. Seeing so many familiar faces and community partners come together reminds us how fortunate we are to have such a strong network of people who care about the children and families we serve.

And of course, thank you to Good Liquid Brewing Co. for hosting us and helping turn a rainy Wednesday evening into a meaningful community gathering.
