If I thought for a second the Packers had a chance of beating my Bears Sunday, I wouldn't have made this friendly bet with Sgt Altiery. Wearing the AR #12 jersey hurt bad.

Congratulations Zachary and good luck to all of the remaining youth runners who will continue to honor those who so bravely serve their communities as First Responders.

We would like to wish one of our longest serving Officers a very happy retirement. School Resource Officer Dave Coronelli was recognized during the September 22, 2026 Braidwood City Council meeting for his 26 years of dedication and service to our community and our schools. Dave served as an Auxiliary Officer before becoming a part-time patrol Officer in June of 2000, eventually transitioning into a full-time patrol Officer, and later a School Resource Officer. As an SRO, he had spent time in both the Reed Custer High School and the Reed Custer Elementary School, helping to build strong bonds between the students and law enforcement. Enjoy your well deserved retirement Dave!!
