***REMINDER FOR NESHANIC STATION TRICK-OR-TREATERS SATURDAY 10/31***

REMEMBER – It is the sincere kindness, overwhelming generosity, and welcoming hospitality of our residents that is at the heart and soul of Halloween in Neshanic Station year after year.

BE RESPECTFUL to our homeowner(s) and their property(s).

So as to not overwhelm homeowner(s) handing out candy, please avoid overcrowding of Trick-or-Treaters at single locations - There are plenty of homes to visit throughout the neighborhood, please travel safely.

Road(s) are set to be closed around 5PM.

Even with the road(s) closed to thru traffic, drivers/vehicles visiting friends/family/businesses will predictably be travelling in the area – PLEASE be mindful of any/all traffic while Trick-or-Treating to ensure everyone’s safety!

*BLACKOUT Homes* - Some homes in the area will have their light(s) off. These homes are NOT to be visited by Trick-or-Treaters. Please be respectful of the privacy of our residents, and be mindful of houses that are not well-lit so as to avoid visiting/knocking on such doors during Trick-or-Treating hours.

Please adhere to all posted "No Parking" signs and road barricades when visiting residential neighborhoods.

Let’s have another SAFE and HAPPY Halloween this year Branchburg Township!

Yesterday afternoon Branchburg PD had the privilege of joining our colleagues over at the Branchburg Rec Dept at this year's 'Trick-or-Treat Trail'.

It is abundantly clear that our Administrative Assistant, Michelle Battito (known around these parts as 'Queen Halloween'), knocked it out of the park with decorating a patrol car for the attendees.... and I think that we can also all agree that Ofc. Gadaleta absolutely NAILED his Police Officer costume this year!

Thank you to Branchburg Rec Dept for always including us in these community events (we absolutely love it!), and thank you to everyone who came out and spent a "BOO-tiful" afternoon with us at White Oak Park yesterday!

Earlier this morning, Branchburg PD was afforded another great opportunity to spend some time with our friends over at The Midland School!

Sgt. Oullette (Retired, SCSO) set up an interactive event for The Midland School students and staff to come and check out some INCREDIBLE vehicles, and invited Branchburg PD to attend and join in on the fun.

Unfortunately for Sgt. Oullette, Ofc. Simmons does NOT play arround when it comes to traffic safety 😜 !

Thank you to Sgt. Oullette and the generous owners of these amazing vehicles (, ) for taking their time to come and display their prize possessions for the The Midland School. The appreciation Branchburg PD has for your engagement with our community cannot be understated!

As for Ofc. Simmons, your commitment to traffic safety is truly unrivaled!

On Saturday morning Captain Edgar, Sgt. Macartney, Cpl. Elbert, Det. Neiper, Ofc. Gadaleta, and Ofc. Polanco had the privilege of spending some time with our friends over at TOPSoccer Branchburg and the Branchburg In-Town Soccer Club at White Oak Park for this year's 'Soccer w/ a Cop' event.

A special 'Thank You' to our friends over at TOPSoccer Branchburg and the Branchburg In-Town Soccer Club for letting us spend a beautiful morning with you and your teams!

As usual the TOPSoccer Branchburg athletes gave Captain Edgar (commonly placed among the soccer greats like Lionel Messi, Mia Hamm, and Lamine Yamal) and Det. Neiper (who was personally invited by FIFA to play at MetLife during the World Cup final match, but respectfully declined so he could properly serve our residents in his law enforcement capacity) a run for their money!

We absolutely LOVE this community, and look forward to next year's event!

On Saturday October 3, 2026 members of Branchburg Police Department participated in the Somerset Children's Center's 3rd Annual Lucky Ducky Derby!

Below you'll see pictures of highly trained professionals (Branchburg PD's very own Cpl. Martin and volunteers from Neshanic Volunteer Fire Company) effortlessly gathering the nearly 3000 rubber ducks that valiantly raced through the rapids of the Raritan River for the attendees. Cpl. Martin was the ultimate decision maker, and proudly crowned this year's champion rubber duck!

'Thank You' to our partners at Neshanic Volunteer Fire Company for hosting the event. A special 'Thank You' to Somerset Children's Center for inviting Branchburg PD to participate. And an extra special 'Thank You' to all of those who donated and came out to spend some time with us during this fundraising event that benefits members of our community!
