Busy weekend for the members at Station 38!

Yesterday, members attended the 106th annual Sussex County Fireman’s Assoc. inspection day and parade which was hosted this year by Sussex Fire & EMS as they celebrated 130 years of service. Members were awarded 2nd place marching for small company, 2nd Command Vehicle and our color guard from the Sussex County Sheriff's Office, NJ was awarded 1St place best appearing Military or Police Color Guard.

We extend our appreciation to Sheriff Strada for the opportunity to have the Sheriffs Office to march as our color guard once again!

Thanks to our members for their hard work preparing 38 Tanker 1 for this years parade. Even though it didn’t win any trophy this year it looked amazing!

Congratulations to all the other winners.

And as if the last two weeks weren’t busy enough, today 6 members took the trip up to the Pike County Fire Training academy to complete live burn training. Crews rotated through multiple stations completing fire attack, Search, and roof/venting operations. It was a great day training along with members of Westfall Township Fire Department, The Matamoras Fire Department and Colesville Fire Company. Special Thanks to Westfall Fire and Assistant Chief Fred Reader Jr. for the invite!

(Less than 20 days and counting!)

Take out only, pick up starts at 1:30 pm

Pick up by 3:30 pm

$20 dinner includes:
1/2 bbq chicken
Baked Potato
Corn on the Cob
Watermelon Slice
Coleslaw
Roll

You can also purchase tickets from any fire department member AND you can also stop by the fire department Tuesday nights after 7 pm to also purchase tickets!

Tickets also available at the municipal building Monday through Friday 9 am to 2 pm while they last!
