Hot temperatures will persist into and through the holiday weekend with Major to potentially Extreme Heat Risk for portions of the area. Multiple days of upper 90s to low 100 degree temperatures will create dangerous conditions for anyone sensitive to heat and for those without access to cooling and/or hydration.
