Expect more nice weather to continue over the weekend and into next week with highs in the 70s under mostly sunny skies. At this time, the next chance of rain is not expected until after Halloween.

Meade County Emergency Management and Meade County 911 will be set up at the Rhodelia Fire Department passing out candy tomorrow evening. Dress the little ones up in their costumes and come on out!

Dry weather will continue through the middle of next week. Expect chilly nights and warm afternoons. Patchy frost will be possible early this morning and again early Saturday, mainly in sheltered rural areas.

🚧 TRAFFIC ADVISORY – NEW FOUR-WAY STOP IN GARRETT 🚧

Motorists traveling through Garrett should be aware of traffic changes!

Per the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 4 Elizabethtown, the intersection of KY 144 (Brandenburg Road) and KY 1238 (Garrett Road) has been converted from a two-way stop to a four-way stop.

📅 New stop signs, advance warning signs, and electronic message boards have been installed to alert drivers to the new traffic pattern.

⚠️ Motorists are urged to slow down, use caution, and pay attention to all traffic signs as drivers adjust to the new four-way stop.

..Patchy Dense River Fog Expected Thursday Morning...

River valley fog is expected to form through the overnight lasting through Thursday morning. With clear skies and calm winds, valley fog will become dense in localized areas. Additional patchy fog may develop outside of these valleys as well.

If traveling through river valleys and low-lying areas in the morning, increase the following distance and use low-beam headlights. Be sure to drive slower through dense fog and leave early to allow extra time to get to your destination.

Patchy dense fog is possible early this morning, especially over bodies of water. It's another chilly morning, with temperatures in the upper 30s to mid 40s in most places. Temperatures will rebound into the low to mid 70s this afternoon.
