🔦 MONTHLY EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: MARK RATCLIFFE 🔦
📍 This month, we’re proud to recognize Mark Ratcliffe, who serves Meade County as a GIS Technician and I.T. Specialist!
👉 Mark has only been with Meade County for a little over a year and is already making significant impacts. Last night, during the Meade County Fiscal Court’s regular meeting, Mark was recognized for his outstanding work in GIS. He was also recognized by Mark Gaus from the Kentucky 911 Services Board and Kentucky Office of Homeland Security. Some of the work Mark has done include developing a map of flooded roadways during the floods earlier this year that allowed the 911 center to share road closure information with the public, media, and the National Weather Service. He also developed a script to update addressing information across several maps that improves efficiency and reduces the potential for errors.
⭐️ This marks his second recognition by the County this year, following an earlier recognition for his work in the I.T. Department, which included helping the County save significant resources and assisting with a murder investigation.
📚🎸 While balancing his County responsibilities, Mark is also pursuing his education at the University of Louisville and enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, attending concerts, and playing bass guitar. His initiative, teamwork, and commitment to learning make him a tremendous asset to Meade County.
👏 Congratulations, Mark! Thank you for your hard work and dedication to our community. We look forward to seeing what you accomplish in the future, both professionally and personally!
