Meade County Otter Creek Park

10/07/2026

Just a reminder that we are still actively issuing parking citations to vehicles that enter and park at Otter Creek Outdoor Recreation Area without a valid parking permit.

Please make sure you purchase your permit before entering and parking anywhere in the park. Don’t let a simple reminder turn into a citation!

If you have been identified in the park without a permit, you will be receiving your citation from the Meade County Sheriff’s Department in the mail.

Thank you for helping us keep Otter Creek operating smoothly and maintaining this special place for everyone to enjoy! 🌲🏕️

Please purchase your permit and enjoy your visit!

🌿 A FRIENDLY TRAIL REMINDER FROM OTTER CREEK PARK 🌿

We here at Otter Creek Park love seeing our community enjoying the trail system we have to offer! We are proud to provide trails for hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian use, and we want everyone to be able to enjoy them safely.

We kindly ask that everyone please respect the trail signage and stay on the appropriate trail designated for your activity.

🐴 Equestrians: Please stay on the designated Equestrian Trail System.

🚵 Mountain Bikers: Please stay on the designated Mountain Biking Trails.

🥾 Hikers: Please remain within the designated Hiking Trails.

We currently have trail maintenance and improvements taking place in various areas throughout the park. Unfortunately, we have noticed some trails being used for activities they are not designated for.

We understand that everyone enjoys the park in different ways, and we want to continue improving and maintaining these trails for everyone to enjoy. ❤️

🙏 PLEASE BE COURTEOUS TO YOUR FELLOW PARK PATRONS. Respect the signs, stay on the appropriate trail, and help us protect the hard work that goes into maintaining our trail system.

Together, we can keep Otter Creek Park beautiful and enjoyable for everyone! 🦦🌲
