The Branford Department of Public Works is pleased to announce its road improvement and resurfacing project for 2025. The following road(s) are scheduled to be resurfaced:

First Phase:
Upper Yowago Ave. (Pine Orchard Rd. to Elizabeth St. )
Hotchkiss Grove Rd. (Pine Orchard Rd. to Elizabeth St.)
Grove Ave.
Pasadena Rd.
Spring Rock Rd.

Second Phase:
Ozone Rd
Selden Ave
Summit Pl
Lower Yowago Ave.

Preparation and milling has been tentatively scheduled to begin Tuesday, May 27th. Weather permitting, paving is to follow. Motorists and residents are cautioned that traffic may experience minor delays and detours during this construction period. Please note: The Department of Public Works is not responsible for any damage done to irrigation systems, sprinkler heads, stone and brick driveway aprons or invisible fences that are within the town right of way. On June 9th at 4 pm, as part of the Music for A Sunday Afternoon Series, The Stony Creek Singers will perform Alleluia by Mozart and That Music Always Round Me by Frank Vasi, which celebrates the greatness of music to express the human experience. The free concert is at Stony Creek Congregational Church and post-concert refreshments will be enjoyed by all.
