TEENS: Stop by the Teen Room on Monday, 6/22 to pick up a kit to make your own felt succulents. No sign up is required but kits are limited. Sponsored by the Friends of the Blackstone Library.

Our adult summer reading challenge has begun! Stop by the display downstairs in our Lobby to pick up your game card and get started for your chance to win a gift card to Ashley's Ice Cream, New England Brewing Co., Whats the Issue? Comics, Moon Shots, or R. J. Julia! A special thank you to Friends of The James Blackstone Memorial Library for sponsoring summer reading.

What a great turnout for our summer learning kick off this past Saturday! Kids danced, crafted, played games, and enjoyed their Ashley's ice cream. The summer make-n-takes were a hit and we can't wait to see photos of your growing marigolds and beans! Thanks to the library staff who facilitated this wonderful event! If you didn't make it, visit the kids department in the library to pick up your summer learning form.

Friendly reminder to join us on the library lawn on Saturday, June 13th from 1-3pm for an afternoon of fun for all ages, featuring live music by the Keith Cooper Trio, crafts, face painting, lawn games, and free Ashley's ice cream (while supplies last!). Be sure to grab your summer reading challenge card to complete throughout the summer for a chance to win prizes as well!

All aboard the book sale express! 🚂 Our conductor is thrilled to announce that our fall book sale will be located at 35 Maple Street, home of the Branford Railroad Station. We are full steam ahead and will transform the upper parking lot into a book sale platform. No tickets necessary 😉
