Rescue 1 is a volunteer squad made up of members from the towns volunteer companies. R1 is a 1998 Pierce Saber Heavy Rescue Truck with a Rescue Body. Placed into service in 1999, it has served the Town of Branford for over 15 years. We also run a Kabota all terrain vehicle to assist in rugged terrain.
