Last week, Skaggs Foundation celebrated a milestone unlike any other in our history: more than $2.2 million invested back into Stone and Taney counties at one time.
It was our largest single funding announcement ever, but what made the day especially meaningful was not just the amount. It was where those dollars are going.
They are going to organizations removing barriers to healthcare, to programs strengthening children and families, to all 12 public school districts serving Stone and Taney counties through our new Healthy Futures Fund, and to CASA of Southwest Missouri through a $250,000 Community Impact Award that will help bring a CASA Clubhouse to Taney County.
This year, for the first time, we also reached beyond our annual Skaggs Legacy Endowment grants, investing an additional $550,000 directly from Skaggs Foundation through the Healthy Futures Fund and Community Impact Award.
These investments represent something important to us: When you give to Skaggs Foundation, your generosity comes right back to this community.
To everyone who has donated, partnered with us, believed in our mission or helped carry this work forward, thank you. This is what YOU have made possible. π
We can't wait to hear the stories of lives changed from each of these organizations represented in the photo.
