Multiple fire departments were added to the call due to the size of the smoke column by 425 Captain Downing including River's End Fire, Jones Creek Fire, Sweeny Fire and West Brazos EMS for firefighter safety. With assistance from the Richwood Fire Department and the Brazoria County Fire Marshals Office, Drones were deployed to assist in determining the location and size of the incident and aid in the fire suppression efforts. A unified command was established with our mutual aid partners to assist with managing personnel and resources.
