Help Us Name the Next Chapter of the Buckaroo Legacy!

Dear Buckaroo Community,
Breckenridge ISD is excited about the progress taking place across our district and the opportunities ahead for our students and community. As we prepare for the opening of our new elementary school and continue investing in facilities that serve our students, we want our community to be part of an important conversation.

BISD is seeking community suggestions for names for three district facilities:
• Our new elementary school
• The facility currently known as the Athletics and Fine Arts (AFA) facility
• The press box at Buckaroo Stadium

These facilities are part of the story of Breckenridge ISD, and we believe their names should thoughtfully reflect the people, history, traditions, and values that have shaped our district and community.

We invite current and former students, parents, employees, alumni, and community members to share their ideas through our BISD Community Naming Survey.

This survey is a suggestion process rather than a public vote. All submissions will be reviewed and considered as part of the naming process, with final naming decisions made by the BISD Board of Trustees.

Please submit your suggestions by Friday, November 20, 2026. The survey will close at the end of the day, and submissions received by the deadline will be included for consideration in the naming process.

On Saturday, August 15, Breckenridge ISD will be performing an update to our local Skyward servers. This update will require Skyward to be offline for several hours. The downtime will begin at 8am and the updates should be completed by 5pm.

As part of this update, the web address to access Breckenridge ISD’s Skyward Family Access will change. The new address will be
https://skyward.breckenridgeisd.org/Student/web/seplog01.w
and any bookmarks you have will need to be updated to reflect this change. If you use the Skyward App, it will need to be uninstalled, reinstalled and reconfigured after the update.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these improvements.

We’re excited to recognize our students for all of their hard work and accomplishments this school year. Families and friends are invited to attend and help us celebrate a great year at BHS! ✨

⏰ Ceremony Times:
• 9th & 10th Grade — 7:50 a.m.
• 12th Grade — 9:30-11:30 a.m.
• 11th Grade — 1:30 p.m.
