Clinton County Illinois – Clinton County Soil & Water Conservation District, with Mapping Solutions, has announced the release of the recently published Clinton County Plat Book. This spiral-bound book features the standard landownership map pages showing townships and ranges within Clinton County, including property boundaries for all rural parcels. Along with landownership maps are the new enhanced LiDAR aerial view maps that show a 3D-like topographical look at the local land.

This new edition includes an updated Clinton County SWCD Pages, Watersheds Map, Lake Carlyle Map, and much more.

I wanted to include our instructions for next Wednesday October 14,2026 for our fish sale pick up. Pick Up will be at 9am, if there are any urgent changes I will let you know through email, and facebook. If you are having your fish delivered please disregard this email, but know they will be delivered that day.

Please check in with SCWD Staff when you arrive to pick up your fish.

Pick Up Location: 1780 N 4th St, Breese, IL 62230 back of the building.
Time: 9:00A.M This is Andrys time, they have a set full schedule for the day. Please be here at 9am, as soon as they distribute the fish, they will leave on to the next stop. (If you have a last minute emergency that interferes with your pick up please call the office immediately, and we will discuss pick up options for you)

What to bring: A cooler, rubbermaid tub, or 5 gallon bucket. These fish will come in bags with air for them, be prepared to have multiple bags depending on your order. I think about 3Ibs of fish per bag is what Andrys Fish Farm tries to do when they distribute fish out.

Weather: Fish Pick up is scheduled rain or shine, unless Andrys says otherwise

Join us for the Southwestern Illinois Agronomy Field Day at Baebler Educational Farm! Illinois Extension invites farmers, crop advisors, and anyone interested in crop production to the Baebler Educational Farm on Thursday, August 6, at 4 p.m

Learn about:
-Nutrient management in row crops
-W**d management programs in corn
-Managing invasive weeds on your farm
-No-till and cover crop management

Participants will also tour corn nitrogen and herbicide trials and see demonstrations of invasive plant control techniques. A complimentary meal will be provided following the program.
