Last night our Washington County 4-H Food Challenge Contestants received their secret ingredients and had 40 minutes to prepare a dish using the items available within their "grocery store" and pantry, and then presented their dish to a panel of judges!

🎉 Results are IN for the Washington County 4-H Food Challenge Contest! 🎉 Please take a moment to help us congratulate all who participated!

FIRST & SECOND PLACE Teams will advance to our District 11 4-H Food Challenge Contest. We hope everyone had a great experience, and we are so proud of all of our contestants!

Join us for the 55th Annual South Central Texas Cow-Calf Clinic and Tradeshow on Friday, October 23, 2026, at the Washington County Expo - Sales Facility in Brenham!

Early Registration Ends: Wednesday, October 21st ($40.00 per person)
Late registration: At the Door ($50 per person)

The registration fee provides admission to the clinic, an opportunity to visit with tradeshow vendors, refreshments, a catered bar-b-que lunch, the afternoon social with beer-battered-beef-tips, and a ticket to win the GRAND DOOR PRIZE of $1,500 worth of beef at the conclusion of the day. **Don’t Forget** The first 50 completed preregistrations received will be entered to win a commemorative South Central Texas Cow-Calf Clinic Cooler (Must be present to win)!
