Fallsburg NY is a small town in Sullivan County NY .The police station is very old, and they are not getting a new one anytime soon. The dept. did receive a NYS grant to replace their lockers and obtain an evidence storage system. They contracted with us to obtain lockers and mobile shelving from Datum on a NYS purchasing contract. since the building does not have elevators, we had to carry the lockers up a set of outside stairs. See attached pictures of the locker installation. We will be installing the mobile shelving next week. Thanks for all the string guys who walked these up the stairs.

In regards to our previous post showing the hd shelving system rails on beams with a raised floor system, see attached finish photo of the space.
The contractor still needs to add a railing along the raised floor next to the ramp leading up to the system. This was a challenging installation and required coordination with the building's structural engineer along with assistance from our customer and the general contractor. Thanks to a great job from all.

The NYS Attorney General has been a customer for many years. They are expanding at their NYC HQ, and need yet another high density storage system. We have shown 2 types of rail installations in the past, recessed in concrete and surface mounted with plywood deck in between the rails. This job required another type of installation, rails installed on I-beams for structural reasons, so the rails are raised up around 8". The contractor then installs a raised floor panel system up to the height of the rails. See attached pictures of the I-beams and then the rails installed with the raised floor system. A pretty unique installation. We will be delivering the balance of this job in the next few weeks.

Over 2 years ago-we obtained a project at a new National Guard base in Putnam Ct. We are finally in the final stages of installing lockers, security cages and shelving. Many delays have occurred on this project and hopefully we are at the light of the end of the tunnel stage. See attached progress photos.

For the past 2 years we have been working with a NYC agency -Administration for Children's Services-as they move to a new location at 110 Williams St. We installed over 400 sections of shelving and 2 high density systems by Datum-throughout 12 various floors. It was a very difficult job as the building was occupied on other floors, and construction was ongoing on some floors while we delivered the finished product to other floors. We got the job done successfully with a lot of help from Reilly Installations, our union installer. Last week we delivered a couple of Datum mail sorters as an add on to al the shelving that was provided. See attached some finished photos form the job.

Over 2 years ago we began a project at the West Point Military base-for their new central archives. We were contracted to install 7 areas of electrically controlled mobile shelving systems, including a system specifically designed for an environmental room, which included additional safety systems. This was a very challenging construction project for all involved, and its finally nearing completion. See attached some finished pictures. One photo shows the arms in the aisle on top of the system. This is how the power is transported from range to range once a button is pressed. We can't wait till we see the system loaded with records.

The Queens County NY criminal court was overflowing with records, scattered throughout their building. Inner Space came in and designed a large high density system in a storage room in the basement of the building. This will result in the Court being able to house all of their archive records in one room, plus expansion. See attached some initial pictures of this installation. We always maximize the given space by customizing the system layout within that space.
