The Bridgeport Public Library serves as the principal public library for the City of Bridgeport, the largest municipality in Connecticut. A city of over 145,000 residents where more than 60 languages are spoken, Bridgeport is one of the most densely populated cities in the U.S. BPL has six library locations:

Two sessions left in our Civics @250 series, and they’re the ones that hit closest to home. ⚖️🏛️

This Thursday 10/20, it’s Courts @250 with Dr. Gwendoline Alphonso, breaking down how the judicial branch actually works. Then on 10/27, we close out the series with Local Government@250 and Dr. Mantas-Kourounis, covering the decisions that get made right here where you live.

Both sessions run 6 to 7:30pm at the North Branch, with light refreshments included.
