We kicked off our "Passport to the World" program with six sessions exploring Portugal and its language, art, and culture. This photo was taken on the last day where Portuguese treats were shared. Thank you so much to our teacher, Augusta, and everyone who participated for making this a special event.

This week is Banned Books Week! Since 1982, Banned Books Week has enlightened the public about attempts to censor books in libraries, schools, and bookstores. Libraries support the freedom to read!

On Saturday, October 10, from 10AM-3PM, join us for a Banned Books Read-A-Thon in the courtyard or main floor reading room (weather dependent). We'll have books that have appeared on ban lists across the country for you to read to show your banned book love!
