A Life That Was a Blessing to Our Mission…❤️

Sometimes, God brings people into our lives who leave a lasting impact on our hearts. For the Haven, Claudia was one of those people.

Yesterday, we lost a very special member of our Haven family after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Claudia was so much more than a volunteer. She was someone we truly believe God placed in our path for a reason. Through her kindness, generosity, and servant’s heart, she became a blessing not only to our ministry, but to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her time with us was a beautiful reminder that serving others isn’t simply about what we do, but about the love of Christ we share along the way.

While our hearts are heavy, we are incredibly grateful that God allowed our paths to cross. Her impact will continue to be felt, and her memory will always hold a special place in the heart of the Haven.

We ask that you join us in praying for her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.

Some people come into our lives as volunteers, but leave as family❤️

A big thank you to Christian Studer and the team at 88.3 WCQR for welcoming us and giving us the opportunity to share more about the Haven Rescue Mission!

We’re grateful for the opportunity to talk about our ministry, the lives being impacted, and how our community can come alongside us to make a difference.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mountain Mission School for the opportunity to visit and share about Haven Rescue Mission, our ministries, and the work God is doing through the Haven!

One of the most important things we can do is encourage the next generation to become involved in serving others. Educating young people about homelessness, compassion, and the importance of giving back helps plant seeds of kindness and service that can make a lasting difference in our communities.

We also want to express our sincere appreciation for the generous donation of sleeping bags for individuals experiencing street homelessness. These gifts will provide much-needed warmth and comfort to those facing difficult circumstances.

We are incredibly grateful for this new relationship with Mountain Mission School and look forward to the opportunities ahead as we work together to make a difference in the lives of those in need.

Thank you for your generosity, your hospitality, and your heart for serving others!
