ISO Rating 5/5X Washington County Fire Rescue #1 was founded on October 6, 1962 by Jack Cole and other residents of Washington County.

We are located in the southwest corner of Washington County in southwest Virginia. We operate out of one station which is located on Lee Highway between the city of Bristol and the Town of Abingdon.
