The City of Brockton commemorates D-Day, the 82nd anniversary of the Normandy landings during World War II.
The Allied invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944 was the largest seaborne invasion in history. The operation began the liberation of France and the rest of Western Europe, and laid the foundations for the Allied victory on the Western Front.

🚦🚦While some of the new traffic signals have been activated along Warren Avenue, traffic flow continues to remain ONE-WAY SOUTHBOUND.
⚠️⚠️DO NOT ATTEMPT to drive north on Warren Avenue at this time.
🚗🚗Announcements will be made when Warren Avenue officially accepts northbound traffic.
