Westfield Child Center

Westfield will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, February 25, due to the continued impacts of this extraordinary winter storm.

The safety of our children, families, and staff remains our top priority. Despite the incredible efforts of our crews, snow and ice removal is still ongoing at the center. The City of Brockton continues to work through extensive snow cleanup, and road conditions remain challenging for travel.

We expect to reopen the center on Thursday during regular business hours.

We understand the impact this has on families and appreciate your patience and understanding. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Thursday.

Due to the ongoing effects of the winter storm and continued snow removal efforts, Westfield will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 24.

We need additional time to ensure that all parking lots, driveways, walkways, entrances, and emergency paths are fully cleared and safe. Our crews are working hard in very difficult conditions, and we will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so.

Any updates will be shared as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding.

The forecast calls for it to get even colder, so families should help ensure students are dressed warmly. The National Weather Service recommends hats, coats, boots & gloves, plus multiple layers of shirts and pants, plus a scarf for face mask to shield faces.
