Two critical emergencies. One day. A calm voice ready to help.

Watch our full conversation with 911 Call Taker Natalie Hundley-Groeger here: https://youtu.be/hq-GRpgTfHM

Natalie recently received a Lifesaving Pin and Department Commendation for her quick thinking and professional response during two critical emergencies on September 29.

In this conversation, Natalie shares her experience responding to those calls, what it takes to work in emergency communications, and the purpose she has found serving the Broken Arrow community.

We are incredibly thankful for Natalie and our entire Communications Division. Their work often happens behind the scenes, but their impact reaches every caller, every responding officer, and every person counting on help.

The Broken Arrow Police Department is committed to supporting survivors of domestic violence and connecting them with resources.

As part of our domestic violence resource series, we’re highlighting Help In Crisis and its free, confidential support for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Abuse is not always physical. It can also be emotional, financial or psychological. Help In Crisis offers accompaniment to court hearings, support groups, educational classes and referrals for counseling, along with crisis intervention and personalized safety planning to help survivors explore their options and take steps toward safety.

For survivors of sexual assault, support also includes immediate crisis response, hospital accompaniment and access to sexual assault nurse examinations (SANE).

Help In Crisis also provides a confidential emergency shelter for survivors and their children, offering a secure, homelike environment where they can find immediate safety.

Our pink patrol car is a visible reminder of our support for everyone affected by breast cancer.

This October, we honor those facing the disease, recognize survivors and caregivers, and remember the lives lost. Behind every diagnosis is a person, a family and a story that matters.

The Broken Arrow Police Department is proud to carry that message of support through the community we serve.

Thank you Phinesso Coffee House for your support and generosity!

Last night We had our marketing team Tisdale Marketing Solutions take photos for our social media, new menu and upcoming new website.

That was about 30 drinks and 4 entrees. After the photo shoot was over we thought to ourselves, "what are we gonna do with all of these drinks and food?"

Since it was a late night photo shoot (630-10pm) and we knew that the Arrow Police Department needed to stay awake and alert for their shift, we decided to give them a call and tell them that they could come and pick it all up for FREE. And they showed up!

Shoutout to Broken Arrow Officer McNelley for making Phinesso Coffee House the safest coffee shop in BA.

It feels really good to give back to the community. We hope you and the Broken Arrow precinct enjoyed all of the drinks! Broken Arrow Police Department
