Anti-Vehicle Crime Association of Wisconsin

Some of the ways AVCAW has accomplished these goals include:
• Holding spring and fall training conferences.
• Providing grants to Wisconsin Law Enforcement Agencies to attend training.
• Published quarterly newsletters to all members.
• Work to build relationships and networks between insurance personnel, law enforcement personnel and the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB).
• Assisted several WI Law Enforcement agencies in “bait car” programs to help combat auto theft.

That’s a wrap on the 2026 AVCAW Fall Seminar!

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend this year’s seminar. We enjoyed a great lineup of insightful presentations covering Street Takeovers, Chameleon Carriers, Dealership Fraud, the Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance (OCI) Fraud Unit, and NICB’s analytical resources and latest theft trends.

Day one wrapped up with a fantastic networking event at Geier’s Grill at the Holiday Inn, giving attendees an opportunity to connect and share insights with fellow professionals.

A special congratulations to Bob Schoenauer, this year’s recipient of the Aebly Award of Excellence! 👏

Thank you to our presenters, attendees, and everyone who helped make this year’s seminar a success.

Thank you to SECURA Insurance for hosting the 2026 AVCAW Spring Seminar. We had an excellent turnout and a great day of learning and networking.

Attendees heard informative presentations on Transportation Fraud and Vehicle Theft, as well as Open Source Intelligence for Investigators. It was also a valuable opportunity to connect with professionals from across the industry.
