We had a small but intrepid turnout for our community snowshoe yesterday. We had three others (Kris Cameron with 2 energetic ten years) who decided they wanted a more challenging adventure as we reached the top of Witts Bridge Road. The old folks turned around to eventually veer off on a flatter downhill trail, while the the 3 "kids" bushwhacked their way back to Cogens.
It was cold, but we had some lovely stretches in the forest and a beautiful view at the end.
Fun was had by all. Thanks to Susan for leading the charge. Thanks to John and Ted for making sure we had a warm fire at the end. And thanks to Kris for providing hot cider!
