Thanks to Rep. Scott Hilton for joining us at our most recent Policy & Pints Night! Scott has been a fantastic legislator in a swing district, and it’s essential that we reelect him to the Georgia State House this year. We appreciate him engaging in an open, honest, and productive discussion with our members about the political landscape and the future of our state. If you are interested in attending our next Policy & Pints, check out georgialogcabin.org for more information!

We will never forget the thousands of Americans who lost their lives 25 years ago today.

We will never stop working to keep our homeland safe from radical Islamic terrorism.

We will never vote for candidates who downplay this tragedy or think America is the problem.

At this week’s Policy & Pints, we discussed the ongoing midterm elections in Georgia, Keisha Lance Bottoms’ disastrous record as mayor of Atlanta, the concerning rise of Democratic Socialist candidates in primaries, and the widespread use of Flock cameras across the metro Atlanta area.

What do you think we should discuss next? Join us at our next Policy & Pints to be a part of the conversation!

For Policy & Pints Night this month, we were joined by John Salvesen, candidate for Congress in and members of DeKalb GOP ! Thanks to The Downwind Restaurant & Bar for hosting us and to everyone who participated in another fantastic conversation. Highlight of the night: the candidate, John Salvesen, brought a cake that he had made himself to celebrate 11 years of marriage equality!
