The Brookhaven City Council will conduct its next regularly scheduled business meeting on Tuesday, June 9, at Brookhaven City Centre, 4001 Peachtree Road NE. The regular business meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.

The City Council business meeting contains the following:
- The presentation and first public hearing of Fiscal Year 2026 millage rates. No action will be taken at this meeting. The next public hearing will be held on June 23 at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

- The Council will receive a presentation on the stormwater drainage system - priority rehabilitation project.

- The Council will receive a report from all departments on recent activity.

The Lynwood Park Splash Pad is unfortunately closed due to f***l contamination. We hope to reopen the water features in the afternoon on Thursday, June 4.

The Brookhaven, GA Police Department needs your help with raising $5,000 for Special Olympics Georgia. They'll be at the Dunkin' on Peachtree, at the intersection of Peachtree Rd and Dresden Drive, from 6AM to 10AM on Friday, June 5!

The annual "Cops on Donut Shops" event encourages healthy competition among police departments in Georgia to raise funds for Special Olympics Georgia.

We mourn the loss of dedicated community leader Thomas "Tom" Lee Reilly. Tom was instrumental in the founding of the City of Brookhaven and greatly advocated for our parks and greenspaces.

The Tom Reilly Green Space, located at 1664 Re*****on Rd, was dedicated in September 2021 in appreciation of Tom's many years of service to the natural environment of the City of Brookhaven and his military service to our nation.
